Hey not entirely sure I signed up for commenting but...when I hit on something good I should share. I like the Edraw tool and I especially like the fact that the output is xml. Mind you I don\'t know what I will do with it right now but the flexibility of xml is something that I may be able to leverage. A good product...and I merely scratched the surface with the demo version. My office may be able to use a product like this one.

Software. This software is useful for me. While taking class or presentation I can easily make the diagram as soon as possible.

EDraw Network Usage for I.T Persons I have used edraw network trial version and found this is very good software for me. I am assist manager I.T & procurement in a TV-Channel in Karachi-Pakistan. Wow! I downloaded this cram sheet the night before my Network+ exam and it helped me immensely. It really does cover a lot of information in only 6 pages, and it gave me a good sense of what to expect during the exam. I truly believe this helped me to pass the exam. Good Prgram too Costly While this program from the demo is very nice it is priced for high end companies and not the individual or small business with a modest software budget. I liked the demo but with the cost of this program and on a personal budget for training, I will look for less costly alternatives.

Yes it does work. Place it on a USB stick together with an exported .ini file containing the data of every Computer in the Network (which you have previously entered), then wander around to each and affect the changes. Reboot them all. Done. Of course it won\'t solve Network problems outside its scope. Perhaps one day someone will actually fully spell out what a PC needs, so as to run a Network reliably, per operating system.
